Jesus Pleads His Righteousness

P17:4 Oh, say, can you see,

all the bent ways of men,

But My paths are all straight,

Jehovah in Your eye.

P17:5 Uphold My way, O Lord,

I do uphold Your cause.

I do hate their paths stray'd,

They trample on Your laws.

P18:20 For My full righteousness,

I was rewarded, Lord,

My perfect work, faithfulness,

Answered My God.

P18:21 For all His precepts I kept,

I magnify'd Law.

Nor from His paths have I stept,

Nor forsook His cause.
